Marine from Crystal Lake Killed in Afghanistan
Capt. Nathan R. McHone, 29, was killed in a helicopter crash.
A 29-year-old Marine from Crystal Lake was killed Thursday in Afghanistan, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.
Capt. Nathan R. McHone died in a NATO helicopter crash in Helmand. He was one of six Marines killed in the crash.
According to the Chicago Tribune, all six were assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363, Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force out of Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Why does the national media not care about our soldiers getting killed anymore? Just a few years ago, tragic news like this would be the lede on any broadcast...now it doesn't even get a mention. Why?
